I knew this day would come sometime, but after 103 years it still doesn't seem right that it would come now. This dear lady was always a part of my life, and now I'm having to say goodbye to her for as long as eternity lasts. I hope we see each other again someday on the other side of the veil, Aunt Geneva. May the afterlife be all you had hoped for.

My great aunt Geneva was an inspiration to her family, friends and those whose life she touched. Always active and an advocate of exercise, even when it wasn't popular— she loved swimming in Alligator Lake, running on Daytona Beach and exercise classes at The Mayflower, where she resided. She loved her convertibles and homemade peach ice cream! She will always hold a special place in our hearts.

My great aunt Geneva was a remarkable woman in so many ways. I have and will always cherish the childhood memories of our family trips to Daytona Beach in her convertible and picnics on Alligator Lake. She was an inspiration and a blessing to so many, and blessed by God to enjoy such a long and productive life. RIP, dear Geneva, until Jesus comes to take us home.

My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your dear love one. The God of comfort promises to "without fail show you favor at the sound of your outcry; as soon as he hears it he will actually answer you" to strengthen and fortify you to endure your grieving process. (Isaiah 30:19)
