Geneva Franklin Obituary
Geneva June Moore Franklin, age 91, a resident of Montgomery, passed away at Jackson Hospital on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 24th at 10:00 a.m. at Leak-Memory Chapel with Reverend John O. Blount officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church #1 near Jemison, Alabama at 12:30 p.m.
She is pre-deceased by her husband of 53 years, Lance Lloyd Franklin. She is survived by daughters, Sophie (David) Ranney, Karen (Peter) Blaise and D.J. Franklin; sons, Brian (Alicia) Franklin and Karl (Leanne) Franklin; six grandchildren, Michael (Dawn) Blaise, Lindsay (Chris) Auger, James Franklin, Luke Franklin, Rowan Franklin and Charlie Franklin; four great-grandchildren, Stella June, Jack, Asa and Madeleine June.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 or a charity of your choice.

June was a wonderful friend. I helped her for many years, teaching the small children at Ridgecrest, in Montgomery. She was always the same sweet, kind person each day. I know she will be missed my her family and many friends. She is now rejoicing with Jesus.

Our family is so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. We are not able to attend the funeral. CW and Lois loved your parents dearly. All of us girls remember all of you fondly. May you all find peace in this time of sadness. Your parents are together again in the house of the Lord.
