Ms. Geneva Lyons Hunt affectionately called "Gennie" was born to the parentage of Mr. John and Mammie Lyons on January 29, 1921 in Elmo, Texas.
She attended Elmo public school.
She was united in matrimony to Hubert Hunt on September 16, 1953. To this union 5 children were born, Oscar, James, Michael, Johnny, and Jeanette.
She spent much of her life raising her children and grandchildren, which she cherished and devoted her entire life to.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Michael Hubert Hunt, parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory and celebrate her homegoing are her children, Oscar Hunt (Mertis), James Hunt (Floreann), Johnny W. Hunt, Jeanette Hunt Bolden (Isaac Charles); seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Louise Britt of Olney, Texas and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Friday, February 10, 2012 8-6pm at Lincoln Funeral Home.
Service: Saturday, February 11, 2012 11am at Lincoln Funeral Home Chapel.
To: Oscar, James, Johnny and Jeanette---I am so sorry to hear about your mom. You guys are in my prayers. Just remember that God makes no mistakes and that He is always with us!!!!
