KINGSPORT, TN – GENEVE WILLIAMS, AGE 89
Geneve Williams age 89 of Kingsport, TN went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2025 while in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family. She was born in Scott County, VA on January 27, 1936 to the late John and Lovely Hensley Sloan. Geneve was a member of Gravely Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Billy Williams and brother, James Sloan.
Geneve is survived by her daughters, Tonda Williams, Gereia Lane (Teddie) and Tina Williams; son, Larry Max Wilson; grandchildren, Matthew Wilson (Rachel), Jonathan Wilson (Brittany), Sheena Haney (Brian), Tamara Lane, Mark Salyers, Candace Tunnell (Dakota) and Timothy Gibson (Kimberly); 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; twin sister, Geree Hood; brother, J.D. Sloan (Sandy); along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at the Gravely Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinchport, VA. Matthew Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, Mark Salyers, Timothy Gibson, Dakota Tunnell and Tony Gibson will serve as pallbearers.
