Not sure what to say?

awww I remember her fondly with her french class in school. And yes I still remember French because of her God bless you until we meet again

Extremely saddened to learn of the passing of a woman who helped develop my passion for French inside and outside the classroom, leading to a wonderful teaching career, exciting travel, and new beginnings. Geneviève, you will be missed. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. Au revoir.

At PLHS, she made us read René Descartes. I will never forget that book and you. RIP.

Rest in peace Genevieve. We had some good times together. Your friend, Barbara S., from NC

RIP She was a great teacher and wonderful person. After graduating from Pompton we often would walk around NYC and would have lunch in a different French restaurant each time. She will be missed!

Mlle. Aurian was the finest teacher I had at PLHS. She made French real and useful. She was a great lady with a great sense of humor. My sister, Betsy, and I still speak fondly of Mlle. and all we learned from her. She came to our house and ate borscht with our grandfather. R.I.P. Mademoiselle.

Susan Cummings Raditch. Class of 1971

RIP. She was one of my favorite teachers. I had her a couple of years. She loved music and took an interest in the bands that I was in....and she was very supportive. That meant a lot to me. Merci beaucoup.

I share the memory of her speeding down the school hallways "aller vite", go quickly! She made the French Language come alive for me.
Paix, Ms Aurian

Bon Nuit, Genevieve, Que Dieu vous bénisse dans votre voyage. You were a wonderful teacher, a very kind person. I remember being detained after class (several occasions!) and discussing that you were born in Marseilles, and that all your family died during WWII. When you asked me if I had siblings, I said, yes 3 brothers. You replied, "Trois frères???" I never forgot your surprise and delight. I hope I meet up with you again some day on the other shore.
