Genevieve Marie Bonar, passed away peacefully at Riverside Rest Home with family by her side on February 16, 2009.
	Genevieve was born April 5, 1919 in Vienna, West Virginia to the late Robert Paul and Bertha (Wilson) Robinson.
	Genevieve grew up in West Virginia and the Ohio area, where she married Ira Warren Bonar on August 29th, 1936. They raised five children, Gary, Glenn, Gene, Gale and Toni Marie.
	Genevieve was very dedicated to her church and family. She worked as a cook and spent most of her time sewing, quilting, crocheting and Flee Markets. She loved her gardens and beautiful flower gardens. Genevieve and Ira, her husband spent most of their time traveling many miles of our beautiful country, from Washington State, to Arizona, Kansas, Texas, New Hampshire and Canada.
	Genevieve was the last living Charter Member of the church of Christ of Belpre, Ohio where she was also a member of the “stepping stones” ladies of church. While in New Hampshire she attended the Church of Christ of Rochester.
	Genevieve moved to New Hampshire in 1994 to be close to her family, she resided at Lincoln Home from 1999 to 2008, and spent the last 7 months at Riverside Rest Home where she was well taken care of by loving staff.
	Surviving members of her family include sisters, Mary Nelson and Iona Thorn of Ohio, brother, Arthur “Pete” Robinson of Newton Falls, OH; children Gene and wife Lois Bonar of Cherryvale, Kansas, Gary and wife Judy of Tacoma, Washington, and Toni Marie and husband Elroy Schoppe of Hockey, Texas; daughter-in-law Joanne Bonar who has taken care of Genevieve for the past 15 years; 19 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
	She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth and brothers, Harold and Robert, a grandson Gary Richard Bonar, and sons Gale Bonar of Rochester and Glenn Bonar and his wife, Roberta.
	Visiting hours will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover. Funeral services and burial will be held at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Belpre, OH.
	In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
