Not sure what to say?

I taught with Gen at Green Bay Avenue School many years ago. She was a kind, patient and loving teacher. A true gem. One of a kind.

I taught with Mrs. Derzon at Green Bay Ave. School for many years. I will always remember her kindness to all. I remember teaching on the floor below her and hearing her kindergarteners learning to skip and gallop and ride trikes over our heads. How lucky her students were to have such experiences. She was a treasure to all.

I met Mr. and Mrs. Derzon when I worked at Sarah Chudnow, and what a great couple. Mrs. Derzon was a wonderful women, and will be missed.

So sorry to hear the news. Aunt Gen was such a kind soul. We will miss her stories, especially the way she shared them. She and Uncle Les will always be remembered so fondly by all of the Bernsteins and our families.

I worked with Mrs. Derzon for many years at Green Bay Avenue School. I found her to be such a patient and loving person. You just felt her warmth. She was a great teacher. She was loved by the children and admired by the staff. I thought of her as a mentor and a role model. She touched many lives as she did mine I am a better person for knowing her (tried to submit two times)

I worked with your mother for many years at Green Bay Avenue School. She was one of the most warm and loving woman I have ever known. You just felt her warmth. Such a great teacher she showed great patience and love to all that came into her life. The children loved her and the staff admired her. I thought of her as a great mentor and I tried to model after her. She was a joy.

Dear Aunt Gen,

I will miss you dearly. You were such an inspirational person with the biggest heart. I always appreciated all the times you and Uncle Les came to my parent's house when I was home visiting. You will always be a special person to me and I hope you are resting in peace.

Love,
your niece Vicki (Clark) McLoone
