Even though we were no related by blood, she was always "Mom" to us. We will always remember the times we sat around just talking long into the evening. She always had a joke or an antidote to share with a keen wit that went on and on. I know she will be "holding court" in heaven with those that have gone before. We will miss her greatly. Kate, I am so sorry of your loss. A day doesn't go by that I don't think of my mother. But I know that even if she could come back, she wouldn't because she is in a better place. The bible says that to be absent from this life is to be present with God. Love ya,
