Not sure what to say?

I am so grateful to Legacy.com for bringing us this wonderful memory of Sister as we approach the tenth anniversary of her going Home to be with the Lord. She was truly an amazing person and a pleasure to have known. Thankfully, she still is and always will be the "Sister" some of us never had.

Loved reading her book, Heaven Is a Beautiful Place! Awesome!

Great Aunt Genevieve- Sorry this is so late- I was doing a family History study and found that you had past- this world has lost a very special person. Great Uncle Clark will be waiting to meet you along with our other ancestors.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I grew up in Murrells Inlet with her son he was my best friend. Sister was a special lady enen after Jim died , when ever I was in Murells Inlet I would go by and visit. We spend many days shrimping with her family in the inlet and skiing. I will miss her.

Both of us extend to the family our deepest condolences. We were so sorry to hear of your loss. What a special lady she was!

My thoughts, love, prayers and sincere sympathy to the Chandler and Peterkin families. Sister was an exceptionally gracious and wonderful lady who I will always admire. May God bless her and these families. Love you all.

I will always remember Sisters compassion, generosity and passion for story telling. She was a beautiful person who inspired me by her love of history and community service. Her gift of words will live on through her documentaries and books but more importantly through those that knew and loved her dearly. Love you Sista, Helen Tecklenburg Atlanta, Georgia - Step Great Granddaughter
