Not sure what to say?

I am James Michael Hawkins. I lived with the Hawkins family for about two years in Falls Church, Va. I knew Geney as a friend and almost a sister. I just read her obituary and feel for her family.

Such a lovely Christian lady. What a blessing she was to so many in so many ways. May your many wonderful memories of her help you through this very difficult time of loss.

Aunt Geney had a great laugh and loving way. Her legacy lies in her wonderful family who share love with others and walk the talk of their beliefs. We'll miss you, Aunt Geney.

Kenny, I always enjoyed your mom. I am sorry for your loss.

I have such lovely memories of Geney. She had an infectious smile and laugh, almost a giggle. She was a fine example of a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a marvelous teacher. She was very creative with curriculum. She took on the role of teacher and mother to the students in her classroom.
Thank you Geney for loving our Blake!

What a sweet, lovely lady. We are thinking of you all with love and condolences.

Our thoughts and prayers Wilbron go to and your wonderful family. Love to you all Gene and Ruth

What wonderful memories we share of our celebrations, our children, and our grandchildren. May God's comfort come to you through all of these.
