Not sure what to say?

It was with sadness that I learned of Genevieve's passing. What an honor it was to know her.
My late mother enjoyed her friendship for years and Genevieve became my friend, as well. Our calls and visits through the years were always a privilege.
Genevieve's generosity in sharing her wealth of knowledge about Vermont and moments of history throughout her life meant a great deal to me and will not be forgotten.
It is my hope that our many wonderful memories will be of comfort in the...

I met Mrs. Trutor only once, but her gracious hospitality and witty conversation made me feel like an old friend within a few minutes. Barry and John, you are both credits to your delightful mother. My condolences.

We are so sorry to learn of genevieves death. She really helped us at benson school. I, Paul Tracy really loved her. She was great.

It saddens me to think that Gen is gone and along with her, a strong knowledge of local history, coupled with US history. I met Gen when I was 20, a young woman just starting in my student teaching. Genevieve shared such a lot of background information about Benson, the Champlain Valley and Vermont. She taught me what was expected of a teacher in this state, who to go to and what the community would expect. Her teachings have never left me and have guided me throughout my career. ...

Aunt Genny was my sounding board when I lived in Benson with my family. I could tell her anything. I was about 20 at the time. We spent lots of hours in her house (while she was nursing Bill) talking about me and what I was going to to with myself. Also abouther life and her time in Washington. She found me someone who had a court steno machine and I got some books and did try it for awhile but never followed through. Wally and I visited her and Uncle John --not sure of that time...

While I never met her, I recall listening to tapes of her singing alongside a piano with my grandpa (Col. John Trutor's brother). Those tapes always reminded me of very happy times. My thoughts and prayers for her and the family. I envision her singing for the Lord now.
Peace and love, Karl F Kovacs IV (Rockville, MD)

Deepest condolences Bea and family.
