Read MoreMy father died when I was a sophomore at Notre Dame. Mr. Fischetti´s daughter Mary(lou) was one of my best friends. The next year he took both of us to the Father Daughter dance. When I danced with him a couple of times, it was as if he was vibrating with sympathy for me I could feel it so strongly. He was so kind to me and I never forgot it.

To the Fischetti family,
I'd like to offer my condolences for your loss - I am so sorry and have your family in my prayers. My grandmother, Connie Carannante, told me about Gerry's passing yesterday and I was so sad. He was such a great man and will be missed by many, especially Connie and Joe, and my mom, Linda, who was an email buddy with him.
