THOMAS, Pastor Geno, 74, of Chester, departed this life on December 24, 2011. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Joan Thomas; three sons, Geno L., Jamiel, and David Thomas; four grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Thomas and Jack Spicer, a host of other relatives, friends and members of the Reconciliation Church of God in Christ family. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held on Thursday December 29 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and where family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2011 at New Deliverance Evangelistic Church, 1700 Turner Rd. Bishop Ted Thomas officiating. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.

Good Morning, I am so much lost for words right now :(, I did not know that Pastor Thomas died until this morning when I called the church 2 follow up on a message I left asking about him cause I could no longer reach him on his phone(had him on my mind). I was his hairstylist in Petersburg VA, for several years. Pastor Thomas was a good good man of GOD and a very faithful and loyality client of mine. My 2 daughters and I will always love him and keep him in our heart as my "other...

Geno Thomas was my pastor for 10 years until I moved. I will miss the way he demonstrated God's love to us.

To the family of the late Elder Geno Thomas, and to the Reconciliation Church of God in Christ, I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to you for your loss. I have had many priviledges and occassions to visit RCOGIC, when in town to Richmond, because of the invitation of my best friend Julius, and his wife. I believe one of the fondest memories I have is being able to share my experiences of Army life with Elder Thomas, and when he called me out of where I was sitting, to sing in the...
