My mother was an avid gardener. She loved tending her roses, and planting tomatoes. She took a picture holding a basket of red, ripe tomatoes. She used the herbs she grew in the garden to make her own base for cooking from scratch, which is why her food was so fabulous.
I hope she is surrounded by lush, fragrant plants and flowers. Surrounded by all the roses, tulips and flowers she loved.
