Dear Peter and family,
Our deepest sympathy for the loss of Genya. Our hearts go out to you and your family.
Genya was a student of mine and she was an intelligent beautiful and creative young lady as well as a pleasure to have in class.
May her memory be eternal. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time.

With our deepest sympathy,

William & Katherine Ansara

Genya Liakos was a loving, caring, and wonderful person and she was my brother Steve's best friend. The two of them went through a lot over the decade-plus since they first met, but throughout it all he absolutely loved her in a selfless and unconditionally caring way. Over the last couple years, she truly became part of our family and all of us are stunned and incredibly heartbroken. One of the biggest regrets I will ever have is that I didn't get to know her as well on an individual level...

Peter,
I was so very saddened to hear of the loss of your daughter, Genya. My sincere sympathy to you and your family. I know she has left behind a very beautiful little daughter, Lyla, and that her spirit will continue to live on in your little girl. May God bless you and your children at this difficult time.

To the Liakos family-I cannot express the grief I feel at the loss of your Genya. She was a beautiful girl with a good heart. I enjoyed having her as part of our family and have many fond memories of the time we had together.

Genya Liakos was a bright and beautiful soul, always cheerful, curious, loving... but just as the brightest candles burn too fast, her life was too short. She lived life enthusiastically, and though my time with her was a brief two years, she became the sister I never had... and I will always love her as such till the end of my days. Rest in peace sis'.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
