Not sure what to say?

The world just won't be the same without you, Geof. But your love, your passion for life lives on--especially through your wonderful family. I will miss our conversations and your jovial presense in our home. I am so grateful that you were a part of our lives!

There are some people who have the gift of putting others at ease no matter what the situation. Geof had that gift. He always knew what to say and when to say it. He touched so many lives in so many ways. We are all better off for knowing him. He will be deeply missed around the hospital. I know his family are hurting and missing him the most. They are in my thoughts and prayers.

Geof was such a wonderful and rare combination of intellect and humor. I was fortunate to be one of thousands of healthcare professionals and patients that were directly impacted by the gifts and positive spirit of this man. He taught me a greal deal. I will never fail to smile when I think about the Caveman.

Geof always had a smile for everyone that was welcoming. He displayed a sharp clinical skill in his years in the CICU , Cath lab and the Critical Care Transport . He made the patient's smile. He took care of my husband with a joke and a laugh and skill. He was a neighbor and friend to me in the MICU for 23 years and we will miss him cursing by on his way out with the latest joke and smile after along day at work.

Whenever we think of Geof, it brings smiles and laughs at all the fun moments we all had with him. I will never forget you, Geof, and that wonderful warm and fun spirit you have.

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We had lots of fun times together as children growing up in a large family with lots of great cousins. We always enjoyed are visits with Geof's family and visiting at Aunt Penny's.
Love, Cindy Penberthy Mann

I was friends with Ginny and Mary in Fairview Park. I remember how nice their older brother was. I am sorry to learn of his untimely passing. Please accept my sympathy.

I'll always remember your hearty laugh and that you were my dad's best friend! A life filled with friendship and love is how humanity was meant to be and you were a prime example of that. Your personality is passed on through Matt, Amy, and everyone you knew. I am lucky to have known you and I will always remember to love life the way you did.

Love always

I miss you already, Uncle Geof. You were the greatest uncle I could ever ask for. I will see you later!
