Geoff was born in Pensacola, FL on July 25, 1968 and passed away on June 19, 2016. He attended Episcopal Day School and Cordova Elementary. He moved with his family to Highlands, NC in 1982, and returned to Pensacola in 1986 where he enrolled at and graduated from Washington High School. He received a B.A. in history at the University of West Florida in 1983, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida in 1998. He began his career in the oil servicing industry as a Field Engineer for Schlumberger Technology Corporation. He also worked as a Sales Engineer for General Chemical Corp, and then he returned to Schlumberger in 2000 and served as General Field Engineer until 2006. He then became employed by Expro Americas, LLC in 2006, holding positions as Training and Development Manager, Base Manager/GOM Manager and from 2011 to 2014 as Vice President.



Geoff was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.



Geoff is survived by his wife, Melissa and 2 sons, Anthony and Aiden. He is also survived by his father and stepmother, Rod and Sandy Magie; his mother, Beth Sanders Magie; his sister, Blair Magie Christian (Cooper and 2 sons, Mitchell and Carter); his brother, Jason King (Marla and 2 children, Jacob and Kallie); his sister, Joli King (sons Waylon and Wyatt); his uncle Steve and aunt Susan Magie; his cousin and best friend Stefan Magie (Ann); his cousin, Vickie Beckford (Jody) and numerous other family members.



Geoff had friends all over the country through his work and education, as well as his life in Pensacola.



He will be greatly missed by all, especially his dear friends Kathy and Nick and others too numerous to mention.



A Memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, 18 W. Wright St., Pensacola, FL on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pensacola Humane Society, 5 N. “Q” St., Pensacola, FL 32505, as Geoff was a great friend to all animals, especially Sanford and Tebow.

Hello Tom. I remember well you came to mother's funeral in Montroeville.
I wish I could have come to Pensacola
But I live in Corpus Christi TX now.
I will always remember our windsurfing days. Mostly kitesailing now. It blows everyday here. Your dad was very supportive of me back in the early windsurfing days
