Read MoreGeoff and I were Fulbrighters together in Germany back in 1994-1995. We became close as veterans do, and I treasured his friendship as a diamond that glittered in the sun. Losing Geoff shocked me to the core of my being as did the loss of my wife in 2021 as well. We raised many glasses together, mostly in Germany. So Geoff, Prost for ever. May God keep you close. I was looking for a good history book and stumbled across Geoffs obit. He was my neighbor freshman year at SLU. Great guy, very dedicated to his history and the military. My condolences to the family. I lost my wife in late 2018, so I understand your grief as well as the practice of savoring the memories and joyous times. My best to you all.
