Geoffrey C. Power

I had the privilege of getting to know Geoffrey at our Saddleback Church in Irvine CA. We met a year ago and we quickly became good friends. I thought of him as my brother In Christ ... and so enjoyed every interaction I was able to have with him. He was always a JOY to talk to and be with and I was so drawn to his selfless heart that was always willing to give of himself in any way he could.

What a beautifully written remembrance of Geoff. He was a dear friend at SHS and later. He was one of the most interesting, intelligent persons I have known, and so much fun to be with. I always thought there would be another conversation. My love and prayers for comfort are with his family and all of us who knew him..

I asked Geoff during our senior year at Simsbury High School how hard it was to move into a new school as a junior. He said it was but he had learned to pick his friends carefully to find the right place to fit in. Geoff picked us, not the other way around. I was always so proud to be picked by Geoff, and I loved him and cherished his friendship.
