Read MoreHi my name is Ron Henson , I was one of Geoff´s first trainees in 1990 at Portland Police Bureau. He was such a positive influence in my life as a young rookie. I´m so sorry to hear about his passing. I was thinking about him tonight 06/10/2023. I googled him and found out the sad news. I ended up doing my entire career and wanted to thank him for his guidance and tell him I miss him.

I was saddened to learn of Geoff's passing. I worked in PPB Personnel Division, and he was there as an background investigator in the the early 90's. Always liked him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May he Rest In Peace.

I played Semi pro football with Geoff for 3 years - he was the QB and MVP player for our title teams in 1982 and. 1983 .. Geoff encouraged and pushed me to be the best I could as a WR catching his passes .. Geoff also showed me the way to becoming a law enforcement officer in 1988- allthough we went our seperate ways he will always be a huge part of the best memories of my life - Mark Pitassi
