I remember meeting Geoff on his first morning in Richmond. Before he began a day of interviews for the town administrator job we toured the town. At one point, the clouds parted, the sun shone, the hills across the valley glowed and Geoff just yelled out "it's so beautiful!" From that moment, it was clear that Geoff, despite his reserved style, had a passionate side as well--and that he was the right person for the job. We are so saddened to hear about Geoff. Our hearts are with you. He was such a caring and helpful person.

Those of us who worked with Geoff in Richmond remember him fondly as a smart, dedicated, hard-working professional, with a quiet sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

My deepest condolences to Geoff's family. May you find some comfort in treasured memories. I met Geoff working at the town of Colchester office. He was well likes and I certainly enjoyed his sense of humor. He will be deeply missed.
