He was an amazing and generous person and great uncle. When I was younger he came to visit and I proudly showed him my post card collection ( I think I had five post cards). I then started and continued to receive post cards from him from wherever he traveled. It always meant a lot to me that he took time to listen to a small child and remembered me everywhere he went. I still have all those postcards, and will always cherish them.
