Not sure what to say?

I went to Boot Camp with Cayer in 2005. I remember him pretty well. I was in Iraq at the time in 2006 when I read he was KIA. I am so sorry for your loss and not sure why I am thinking about this now but I know he is in a better place.

I never knew Geofrey but for the past couple of years I have chosen a fallen US hero to research every day. Geofrey looks to be a hard working, proud, smart, and brave marine. I offer my condolences to the family of Mr Cayer and anyone who knew him in life. Geofrey Cayers actions reflect great credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the US Naval Service.

God bless this fellow Massachusetts resident. He is still missed greatly.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you...
