Not sure what to say?

I met Georg Ann in the fall of 1979, in Horticulture Classes, at Triton College. What I remember most about Georg Ann was her keen eye and quick identifications for proper Horticultural designs and planning, and the ability to make it into a reality. I shared many a conversation about gardening and learned a lot from her. Because of her non-judgmental nature, as I recall, kept me in pursuit of all things beautiful, green, and plant able. What a great inspirational lady. My deepest sympathies...

I met Georg Ann over 35 years ago when she graciously gave of her time and talent to teach my home care workers how to maintain a Kosher kitchen for a client and I was privileged to call her a friend from that time. So glad we were able to honor her as one of the 60 over 60 in April. She will be missed.

I keep remembering Georg Ann's welcoming smile and her amazing hugs. She had a brightness and a warmth that always made me feel loved and accepted. This was gift I will always treasure. I feel so blessed to have known her through the years...decades...despite the distance. Becky and Dad, I send you warm hugs of comfort and that bright warmth that keeps glowing in her memory.

I am addicted to shopping at the Economy Shop, and I always visit the Book Department...every time Georg Ann had smiles and laughter for me (along with comment about the books I had selected). I will now miss her and think of her every time I am there. My utmost sympathies to all of her family and friends!

My deepest sympathy to all who knew and loved Georg Ann. She was an inspiration & an example to me throughout our acquaintance. A compassionate, intelligent woman, and a willing and important volunteer whose loss will be keenly felt for a very long time to come.
I now know that she had more influence over the course of my adult life than I ever realized before, and I am a much better person for having known her.
My heartfelt condolences.

My dear, sweet friend - I can't believe you're gone. I'll miss you.

Dear Tom and Rebecca, although I was but a child when I met Georg in the summers she taught at the Forest Park park on 16th and Circle, she opened up a world of incredible longing for knowledge and the joy of music. I cannot look at or hear a Ukelele without thinking of her with great fondness. Tom I remember you coming to the park to see her and I am glad you had the years together. I was just one of the many children who's lives she touched.Growing up in Forest Park There were not many on...

Dearest Hedy and Family I wish I could be there with you today
Know that you are loved and that there are many prayers of love being sent for you and your family. Your sister was truely blessed to have a sister like you and you blessed to have her. Celebrate her life, remember her love, she will always be in your heart.

A family is a web, woven out of time, love, energy, and spirit. We weave ourselves together, building something larger than ourselves out of our individual lives.

Georg Ann was an expert weaver, creating family where ever she went with her great spirit and gentle humor.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The Light with her always, and with us.
