Not sure what to say?

Though I never took a class of his at UCLA, I spent hours in his office discussing matters personal and theological. He was the most important mentor to me in my undergraduate years, and he selflessly guided my academic and moral life more than anyone else during that time. He also opened his home to me along with many other students. We all owe him a great debt of gratitude.

When I was an undergraduate at UCLA, Prof. Tennyson became my unofficial advisor and friend, and guided me in my academic career. I owe him an inestimable debt of gratitude.

Dear Cammy and Holly,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.It is such a tragic loss.I know I wasn't very close to my Uncle Buddy or you, but I have treasured memories from when we were younger, especially one Christmas we had,boy we were spoiled. I always remember when I did talk to Uncle Buddy he had such a great speaking voice very precise and used so many words that I'd never heard of.He was a brilliant man. When my dad died he had soothing words for me I will never...

I have enjoyed hearing stories of your father over the years, and although I'd never met him, I developed great admiration and respect for him. I am very sorry for your great loss.

Holly and Cam -- I am so sorry I can't be there in person with you, but will be in spirit. I loved both of your parents very much and thoroughly enjoyed spending many many years at your house (my 2nd home) while we were young.

Dear Cameron,
My thoughts and best wishes are with you and your sister for your loss. I have fond memories of your father. He is missed.

Sunday visits to see our Aunts, Uncles & Cousins are a special memory. Visiting with the "family" at Aunt Emily's & Aunt Lena's was the most special. I truly mourn the loss of a person who was a special part of our "family."

When growing up I always remember his smile. We went to see Aunt Emily and family on Sundays as my parents took us regularly to see Aunt Lena and family, Uncle Arthur and family, Uncle Werner, the Smiths, etc. I especially had an affinity for Cousin Buddy as my father was a George, too. My children would hear about your family through Cheryl as she and my daughter Tammy talk daily. My love and prayers, Gwynethe Ruhl Sanders and children (Tammy Sanders Wright, Brian Sanders, and Susan...
