This weekend (30 JUN 2011) was the 17th Annual Reunion of the 6th BN 68th Armor Regiment. George served with us and is remembered as a true soldier. He and SFC Andrew Coffin are the 6/68th known combat casualties. Their memories are kept by there comrades.

I was thinking about my cousin Butchie today and when I found this website and read all of the entries it made me so proud of your ultimate sacrifice for your family and your country. I really wish I would have gotten the chance to have a relationship with you as an adult. As a mother now I really realize the loss your family must feel and hope your children and wife are well.
