George Leon Abbott

He is remembered today and had a lasting impression on my life.
I was one of his Journalism students and he told me he wished he
could give me a better grade than an A+. He told me to make a
career in Journalism....I still do print work and I had thought of him
many times over the years, he believed in me! That conversation we
had I will never forget, I am a1963 graduate, the best of years....RIP Mr. Abbott!
