To the Ackerly family, I had no idea that George had passed until a couple of days ago that in conversation with another retiree we started remembering those that we had contact so often with. I worked for NJB/Bell Atlantic/Verizon, took the buy out in 2002. I knew George and his family for many years. He was a kind and wonderful man who always thought of other people before himself. I had the pleasure of working with him at St Cecilia's Parish for many years and we developed a warm and lasting friendship. My deepest sympathy goes out to Linda , George and Katie.
