George was a favorite of mine for many reasons. I did not know him as a plant professional, but instead got to know him and Annette under different circumstances. They are both brave and committed people, lovely to know and to work with. I admire Annette's grace and will miss George.

I have known Dr. Agrios and his wife since 1996. He was very instrumental in my undergraduate and graduate training at UF. Thoughts and prayers for the family. Dr. Agrios is with the Lord! Praise God and amen!

George Agrios was a remarkable man whose contributions to society are well documented. He was greatly admired for his devotion to God, family, and community. We were privileged to call him friend. George your life was one to emulate "well done" you will be truly missed but never forgotten.
