I am the widow of one of Hogan's Goats, KV Campbell. So very sorry to hear of your dads passing. I appreciate him always keeping everyone informed. Such a loss. I will miss him. I sent a Christmas card this year and didn't receive one back. I knew something must of happened.He will always be special to me.

George, i just found out from Shayne Jarosz of IJAA about your fathers passing. He was a great guy and I will cherish the time i spent talking to him about Iwo Jima. He will be with us in spirit this year. Again my condolences to you & your family on the loss of one of the greatest generation. Semper Fi !

George and Diann, Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have been blessed to know George personally and I will always remember what a great man he is.

George was an incredible man who was respected by all. He was he a humble, Man of Honor. George loved coming to the Elks Lodge, dancing and enjoying his onion rings.

George never missed a veteran's event. From our Elks Flag Day ceremony to the grand opening of the Lake Worth Veteran's Memorial Park project, George was there.

Last Verse of the Marine Corps Hymn:

"Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve;
In many a strife we've fought for...

An American Hero passed on to be with the Lord. George loved his country more than himself. I thank God for the opportunity to know this wonderful man for three and one half years and the grandeur of the Military Balls we attended.
God be with George and Diann in their loss.

George Bernard was our extended family- his relatives married our relatives. Never knew a finer man-and lest we forget Geo. B. was a WW II vet and was wounded at Iwo Jima and witnessed the flag raising from hospital.

Our "Greatest Generation" message went unsigned and should have had two photos. It was from Ron & Juana Rosa Daniell and we will attach a second photo of George.
