It was an honor to have known George and Lo. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I had the pleasure of a personal and professional relationship with George during his 24 yr tenure as Rockingham County Attorney. He made a significant contribution to the transformation of the County as it planned for and reacted to the growth in the Shenandoah Valley. He was a true Virginia Gentlemen who I am pleased to call my friend.

I am so sorry for your loss! I have lots of great memories of George & Lo from my years at the R-H SPCA. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

I first knew George in his role as a director and counsel for Dominion Bank. He also had a the task of containing the sometimes over exuberance of Francis Bell. They made a great team and the bank was the beneficiary. It was a privilege to work with George. He will be greatly missed.

I will always remember George as a true southern gentleman and dedicated attorney. He was always very kind to me when I worked at WAW. What a blessing to have known him. My condolences to the family and the community he served so well.

We always remember George when he was council to Rockingham Bank, he was always so helpful in managing my Mother in Laws affairs, even came out to her house to help with business matters. Always a gentleman. Such a great loss to the community.

Thank you, George, always a gentleman, for your kindness, and for your being such an important part of the law firm, on behalf of my late husband, Ron, and our family. My deepest condolences to George's family, as all of you grieve the loss of George.
