Not sure what to say?

He coached two of our daughters in summer track, Shaina and Jessica Owens. And they just loved him. My mother worked with him at Encore many many years ago. He was funny and kept everyone laughing, he would stop by our house on Christmas and Buy pound cakes and sweet potato pies. Rest In Peace from the Owens Family

I played with George in the early 70's with the Mustangs. I learned a lot from George and we had some great laughs together. He would line up for a play and tell the DB to back up because he was going deep. It didn't matter how far back he would go, George would run right by him laughing. He is still the most beautiful runner I have ever seen. It's been 40 years since we played together and I still talk about him. Sounds like you had a very rewarding life George, you touched many lives....

My deepest, heartfelt sympathy goes out to Ola and the entire Anderson family. George coached me when I ran track for the Omaha Skylarks, he was the best coach I ever had. George inspired me with his knowledge and passion for both track and life.

To Ola, Eric, GeGe, Marcus:
George "Log" was such an important person in my life. He was always so kind & gentle to me. I never realized how humble he was about all his lifes accomplishments. He was the only papa my daughter with Gege ever knew in this life & he will be missed so very much. I know that he'll be our angel in Heaven & will be watching over us all. Every day he is with us - we just have to pay attention to the little signs around us. God has taken him for now to spend...

Mr. Anderson coached with my father, Terrance Turner, at North High. On behalf of the entire Turner family, we are truly sorry for your loss. Please know that your family is in our prayers. Mr. Anderson will be greatly missed.

The Turners

Anderson, family I'm truly sorry about your lost. I've known Log since we were in high school. Grace and piece to all of you. Love Jacqueline Lawless.Donald I'll talk to you when you get back.

I was a friend and teammate with George when we played with the Omaha Mustangs. I constantly enjoyed his presence and ability to make people smile and enjoy life. I enjoy reading these notes from all of his friends and relatives with the realization that he continued his positive attitude and influence for the next 40 years. What a remarkable man.

Eric and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

God Bless, Dawn and Jerome Coles and family
