George James Andrews, loving son of the late James and Mary, nee Janetis; dear brother of Nicholas, Don (Rachel) and Paul (Gilmary) Andrews; fond uncle, great-uncle, cousin of many and proud godfather. Cermak Rd., Westchester, IL, on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Everyone will meet Tuesday July 2, 2024 at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 2501 S. George was always very positive and considerate to people in the Chicago sports community and in all walks of life. It was good seeing him outside the locker rooms at Bulls games and in other sports and entertainment settings in Chicago or to talk with him on the phone.
George seemed to genuinely root for the success of others such as I - even if he had no business relationship with them. He was always available and helpful in the early years of WSCR Radio, The Score.
