Andrus family,
There are not the words to express my sorrow at Big George's passing. He was bigger than life and I thought he would go on forever. No doubt he will live in all our hearts forever. My sincere condolences.

Mrs. Andrus,
I just happened to see this today. I am so sorry. Ginger is a good friend and you were the best elementary teacher I ever had. You are in my thoughts. May god bless all of you.
Sincerely,

I just found out about the passing of our fullback. It brought tears to my eyes and a big ache to my heart. He was a Big Guy in ALL ways and my heart felt condolences to Dixie and family

Dixie I am so sorry for your loss of George. He was one of the best things to happen to St. George ever. He put Sand Town on the map and was a hero to us all. Was younger than Lee and I in years only and was idolized by his sisters. Always will rember him loaning me his good boots to wear in an Assembly at school. Will be missed by all.
