Not sure what to say?

George,

Cindy and I still miss your smile and great sense of humor. Remember stories of you teaching Dislocation Theory smoking a cigar. One day with the spirit upon you, the wrong end of the cigar entered the mouth. Hardly a missed beat and on with the lecture.
God bless you!!!!
Walt and Cindy Johnson

My sincere condolences to the Ansell family. Dr. Ansell was a great influence in my early education at Rensselaer when was a Materials Engineering major. Additionally we had numerous conversations about is role in the founding of Pi Lambda Phi.

Carl Redfield RPI, Pi Lambda Phi 1968

George's electron microscope lab at RPI spurred my initial interest in Metallurgy and he later supervised my graduate studies jointly with Fritz Lenel. A real scientist.

Marjorie,
Condolances with the loss of George. He was a great inspiration to us at RPI. Thoroughly enjoyed his retirement party at CSM in Golden. We love you George rest in peace!

I have fond memories of Dr. Ansell who taught me undergraduate metallurgy. He will be missed. RPI class of 1968

Fred Ansell-I have been trying to find you on fb for a while, to no avail. I happened to notice the recent passing of your parents-so sorry. Would love to connect, at this time I offer you my deepest sympathies. Joanne Loewy ([email protected])

Our deepest condolences to the Ansell family. I enjoyed working for your father at the Colorado School of Mines. His leadership of CSM was extraordinary. Your mother was a most kind and generous woman. They will be greatly missed.

Laura, Ben, and Fred,

I was so sorry to hear the news about your parents. I spent so much time with your parents in Loudonville, Schroon Lake, Ithaca, and Colorado. They were always so warm and welcoming to me. I know they cared so much about all of you. The fun you all had together is very evident. I will be thinking of all of you, and will be in touch.

My deepest condolences to Fred, Laura, Ben and the rest of the Ansell family. Your parents were always warm and inviting to me during our summers at Schroon Lake together. Just last week I took my kids fishing to there favorite spot adjacent to your house where the old Edgewater hotel pier was. I will always be reminded of there generosity to me. Best wishes from the entire Bernstein family.
