I recall a Mr. Aument who taught 7th grade World Geography at Montgomery Hills Jr Hi in 1954. He was one of my favorite teachers. I remember him fondly as he exhibited kindness, patience,and a sense of humor. He gave us the same assignment at the beginning of the school year and at the end. To the family of Mr. George Aument. I had a teacher in Montgomery Hills Jr. High School in Silver Spring, MD in the late 1950's named George Aument. All Mr. Aument's students loved him as a teacher - and in fact many of us nominated Mr. Aument in a Washington Post "favorite teacher" contest in 1958.
