Not sure what to say?

Chief George C. Austin was Chief of Police when I was a member of the NNPD. He was a guiding light and man of the highest moral character, a cops cop to those who served under his command. He will be missed and his memory will live forever.

Wish I had the opportunity to be under his leadership. I'll still strive to mimic his legendary character.

Chief George C. Austin was very dear to us. Through the years, he "watched over" us, always keeping our best interests at heart. His concern for his friends was as vigilant as that which he reserved for his beloved Connie. Chief was a fine Christian man, a perfect host, and a devoted friend. We thank God that his path crossed ours. Most sincerely, Chief will be missed. These sentiments have been truly spoken by very grateful friends, The Rambeau Family, of Newport News, VA.
