George Edward Austin Sr.

I had the opportunity to know George (through working with him at Office Depot) for almost 15 years. I will miss his laugh, his smile and his caring ways. As a teenager when I first met him, he taught me very much about life. Mr. George Austin, you will be missed my friend! My deepest thoughts and prayers are now with your family. May you now rest in God's hands and may he heal the hearts of those that you have left behind, while leaving in our hearts and minds the memories that you bestowed...

The vestibule at Hillsboro church of Christ is going to look empty without him sitting there greeting everybody. George was a warm and friendly man who many loved and all will miss. We share in your loss, but know he is resting safely on the other side waiting to greet us one day.
