George Richard "Dick" Baker

I still think of you often and wish you were with us. I miss your smile and your pleasant way of saying things. The front desk is so different without you.

So sad to hear of "Dicky" passing. I knew him well when he worked for this parents music store. We were the same age, and I worked with his father and mother and many other now famous Lexington musicians as a guitar instructor at his father Dick's music store. They were enormously generous and wonderful people, all of them, and Dick senior was such a talented musician, he truly loved music above all. George and I were classmates graduating in1977. I manage the complex in which he lived. It was a great to be able to be in his company again over the last year and a half. George always had a smile and flirtatious comment to bring, even if it was regarding himself! He was a delight to be around and was loved by this community. I personally will miss George and the atmosphere he created. Much love and support to his family and friends.

Although we lose touch with friends as time goes by,it doesn't mean those friends are forgotten. Sorry doesn't seem adequate for the loss of one of our friends and Lafayette Band mates. Dick will be remembered as a great guy, and will be missed by all that knew him. Condolences and prayers to his family. He is at peace.

Although we know at such a time there little there's we can say. We want to let you know - Paul (Rhonda), Mark (Shelley) and Tim (Tammy).
