Not sure what to say?

His FRIENDSHIP ....AND KINDNESS .....were appreciated... his intelect.....as well as his wit and humor...are part of treasured memories............

George was indeed a great friend to everyone. Eventhough I might not have seen him for years, I would feel certain that when I did see him he would have a warm smile and a genuine interest in talking with me.

Susan, Steven and Jocelyn I am sure you will miss him greatly. He was a great man.

Susan and family:

I just heard of George's passing and I am sorry for your loss. He will remain special in my heart.

Susan,

So sorry to learn of your loss. I will always remember the fall of 1976, a difficult year for me. Marc and I visited you and George at that farm in North Carolina. It was there I again remembered to smile, laugh, and enjoy healthy friendship. In Saginaw I discovered I wasn't qualified to carry George's golf clubs, much less try to play with him. My best to you and your family.

What a great guy; I was fortunate to have worked beside him for many years at the Kalamazoo DSS/FIA/DHS office. Always friendly, great smile, he helped make all of our lives within that crazy world a little bit more bearable. So many happy memories of him, they also include wonderful receipes he passed on - now known simply as one of "Georges Dish." Much thought and prayers to his loved ones. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

George was a wonderful and caring man. I met him in 1979 at VanBuren Co. DSS. His birthday is one day after mine and for many years we always wished each other Happy Birthday. It has been a great gift to call such a caring, kind and gentle man my friend. He is missed.

I worked with George in the Office of Child Support. So sorry for your loss.

Every now and then you meet someone who, when you merely think of them, you find yourself smiling. George was such a person and I feel so blessed to have been friends with him. My most heartfelt condolences to his dear wife and family.
