Not sure what to say?

He was larger than life, and the kids are so afraid of him, and we laughed because he had a heart of gold.

My Dad was principal of Baldwin High School. Mr Banky was my biology teacher. I never met a more upstanding man than Mr. Banky. He taught is not only to respect him but also each other. I am truly a better man because of him. I remember he drove. VW bug how he got into it I will never know.

Who could forget your smile, and always a great joke or two handy

Remembering mr. B fondly. He was wonderful to work with.

Dear Mary Lou, Our deepest sympathy, Love Dennis & Melinda Mcwilliams

I saw you in the halls at Baldwin and though I didn't have you as a teacher this kid coming from a Catholic school was intimidated by the large surroundings. I would say hello Mr. Banky and you would also acknowledge this stranger back. Years later when our paths crossed again and we ended up attending the same church this not so skinny kid anymore now on a walker and a senior from the first pew still nodded as you walked by and you did the same. The face looked familiar but I could not...

Mary Lou I don't believe that there are words that would describe the positive influences that Coach had on so many,he is the example of what a husband, parent, and friend that we all should become.

Mary Lou,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my sympathy.

I had the very good fortune of having both Mr. and Mrs. Banky play major roles in teaching me about discipline and respect during my youth. I appreciate all of their years of service to the Baldwin Whitehall community. My thoughts and prayers are with their family.
