Not sure what to say?

I was a caddy in the mid 70s and one year was sent to the Onwentsia Pro-Am. I remember seeing George Bard play as a 6 handicap in the event. You could tell he was a special guy!

Very strange that I thought of his name this night...and googled it and found that he passed away. George rest easy!

As longtime members of Naples "Soonfu", George and I fished the Naples area and chased the elusive Bonefish in the Bahamas, Mexico and Central America. We also chased the golfball until we just couldn't do it anymore. We laughed, joked and had great discussion with our buddies. We're truly saddened by George's passing and extend our heartfelt condolences to Jean and...

I grew up in Barrington Hills and went to school with the Bard children. We were members of the Barrington Hills Country Club and my father played golf with Mr Bard. I remember him as a fun and great guy... my condolences to the family
