Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful man. I am blessed to have known and worked with George at the MAISD. He had a way of making everyone feel loved. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Find peace knowing George is with Sally and in the arms of Jesus.

When I became the superintendent of MAISD George reached out to me to show his support and offer his counsel. He knew of my seminary background and that tie united us even closer. I felt so sad to read the news of his passing but I also know he awaits us with his wonderful laugh and his outstretched arms of love.

It is still sad to hear about George. We worked together for years as colleagues at the MAISD. And he left a lasting imprint on me for his dedication to all those around him especially anyone needing special care. He was honorable and just with a sense of humor that made it seem so light. It was George who lead the annual recognition ceremony honoring his colleagues. He never left his vocation. We are further saddened by being out West now and unable to be present for his final service. Rest...

I worked with George when he was the Director of Special Education at the MAISD. After his retirement, I saw him at Wesley School, where he was working as a consultant. The past year I would see him at Meijer and we would catch up on old times. George was a wonderful man, with a great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed, by all who knew him.

My condolences and prayers to the family. May God lift you up on Angel's wings, George.

I was saddened to learn of George's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at MAISD. He made everyone feel special. Prayers to all of his family.

To all the family, I had many good times sitting at the lake with George and Sally. Greater neighbors and souls do not exist. With deeper love, Cheryl Curtis and Micheal Blais

I had the privilege of getting to know George while I was on the Board of Education for Muskegon Public schools and the MAISD. He was known as a man of honor who put students first and I know he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, George.

I enjoyed working with George for the 20 some years that he was with us. He was always willing to assist anyone who asked for help. He was a wonderful, caring man.

In 1981 George hired me as his steno-clerk at the MAISD. I was young; just out of a two-year program at Ferris. He took a chance on me when he could have hired someone with work experience. I learned so much from George in the years we worked together and after he retired. He taught me people skills, gave me confidence, and allowed me to grow in my career field. He was my supervisor but also my friend, and I will miss him greatly. My condolences to Tom and his family and all of Sally's...
