BARRON, George Albert "Jay" III, 64, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at Henrico Doctors' Hospital after a long illness. He was predeceased in death by his parents, George A. Barron Jr. and Nell Irby Barron of Pine Bluff, Ark. A native of Atlanta, he was raised in Pine Bluff and graduated from Arkansas State University in 1968. He followed his father in becoming a Special Agent of the FBI, serving in Baltimore, New York City, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Denver, and finally Richmond, retiring here in 1999, after 30 years of service. He is survived by his son, David of Richmond; a brother, Nolen of Pine Bluff; a niece and two nephews. Burial private.
