Not sure what to say?

George was certainly a fine neighbor and fellow city council leader.
I recently learned of his death from someone in Nacogdcoches County that knew of his oil field work.
Our condolences. Loy & Brooksie

My PRAYERS OR WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Morris was truly a fine person and probably had the most integrity of anyone I have ever know. I only worked a short time with him in the oil business due to an injury but I remember him well as I do many others. God bless each of you because he definitely had big shoes that can't be filled easily.

To the Bartee Family,

Our prayers are with you during this difficult time. I thank George for believing in me and hiring me as the first Chief of Police of the City of Grapeland. He will be in our memories and will be truly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

You and your family are in my prayers.

George Bartee was a very good man, honest, hard working, good community person. There should be more of his kind. I worked as a secretary in his construction company in the late 70s

Thelda, Karen and family,
I regret that we have not been closer over the years cause there were so many miles between us. I just want you to know, that I think Morris was one of the finest men I have ever known and I am proud to be his cousin. He was always there for the members of the High family and I know his family was very dear to him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in your time of sorrow, may your memories of this wonderful man remain with you forever and bring you...

I have known Mr. George since I was just a baby girl attending Missionary Baptist Church with my grandparents Raymond & Flora Boykin. Mr. George can always be remembered as a kind, giving gentleman who was devoted to his family. He will be greatly missed by the citizens of Grapeland, Texas as well as others whom his life as touched. May God comfort each and everyone of the Bartee family is my prayer.
