Not sure what to say?

I was at the University of Denver with George and Pat (twins). Both guys were my very good friends. Loved them both. I'm so sad to hear about George. We all spent a summer in Europe. Both wonderful guys. My condolences to the whole family. Steve Wiggins. Texas . DU Class of 1974.

I was about 21 when I started working for Southeast Bank and met George. He was so funny, charming, warm. He had just gotten a new red Porsche and took me for a ride one day during lunch. Imagine I-95 empty and going 100 MPH while listening to french songs and George telling stories about his time in boarding school. I've never forgotten George and his absolute love affair with life.

I was introduced to George from his first wife, Toni., and George and I became close friends from the time I lived in Miami, in the early 80's. God Bless

i only learned of georges demise today. please accept my condolences for the entire bassett family~!!

We are so sorry about George, and send our love and sympathy.

Melissa,
Bobbi and I are sitting here in tears. Thank you for your kindness this afternoon. Please tell the kids I am truly sorry I wasn't able to finish teaching George how to ski.....

Hello to Georges family and friends, I met George a few years ago through a mutuial friend. He assisted me and my company, he was creative, funny and smart. he never lost his perspective and he was passionate about his work. I will miss you George.

Dear Melissa and family (and Pat),

Please accept my deepset condolences for your loss. Although I did not know George I have known and worked with Pat for years. In fact I had lunch with Pat the day before George passed away. I know how very much Pat loved his brother as I heard stories about him and your family over the years. My wife lost her brother last year and he was the same age as George so I can understand the pain of losing a loved one way before their time. My thoughts and...
