He was always loyal to so many organizations and especially loved the City and people of Kettering. Our deepest condolences to the Bayless family as you mourn the loss of George, a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle. George was a master of involving himself in the world around him, especially leadership for Dayton & Kettering activities. When we was at Denison University he exhibited the same kind of service on campus. He co-chaired MelloMania, the first of its kind on college campuses. The event brought the George Shearing Quintet, The Salty Dogs from Purdue , and The Kingston Trio together for a single performance in Denison's Fieldhouse.
