Not sure what to say?

Dr. Becker saved my life back in August, 1966 when, at the age of 18, I was in a devastating auto accident in which I sustained grave head injuries. He did eight hours of emergency surgery--without anesthesia because "...there wasn't time..." to look for blood clots that were killing me. I was in a coma and they were losing my vital signs. At the end of the surgery, I stopped breathing and was put on life support. After nine days, I began to breathe on my own and after many weeks, began...

George was a related to me thru marriage to my cousin Alice Both. I never met George, because they are such a private family, until we both were interested in doing our family trees and he was a wealth of information regarding genealogy. I last talked with George at our Aunt Mary Both Evans, 100th birthday party in 2014. He was always a pleasure to talk with and is missed by all.

My thoughts and prayers are with friends and family. I had the good fortunate of swimming with "Dr. George" at the Wyckoff YMCA. To the Becker family, I am sorry for your loss. I just wanted to share some comforting scriptures. Hosea 13:14. Take care.

Sorry for your loss may you draw comfort from Gods word at Hosea 13:14. L Ohio

It is with great sadness that I read about the passing of Dr. Becker. I first met him as a child when he diagnosed me with hydrocephalus and performed surgery to place a brain shunt. This was more than 40 years ago. I remember Dr. Becker as a kind and gentle man who treated me as if I was his own daughter. He put my parents at ease, and they trusted him implicitly. Dr. Becker's was a life well lived. May he rest in the loving arms of our Lord for all eternity.
