George Edward Bertram III

I was saddened to read this about George! I so enjoyed him when he came in the bank with his big smile. My sincere sympathies to Bonnie and Family.

Bonnie, John and I will never forget visiting you and George in Oct 2018. George was so generous with us, showing us around McCall, taking us to visit Jerry, and feeding us delicious meals at your Pancake House. Our hearts are so sad to hear og George's illness and passing. Our hearts go out to you. The memorial service was a beautiful tribute to George. May God carry you in His embrace in this most difficult time. Sending you prayers, love, and hugs. John and Gayle Lawson.

Thanks for being the bright light George..especially for the 24 years I was at the Pancake House...the jokes...the laughs...the humor you so infectious spreD...the little nudge when you thought you were gonna lose control and the extra mile you would go to help someone out...and the many times I'd go home with a few less dollars at our weekly poker game cuz I couldn't stop laughing..and thank you for your service George ..both military and humanity driven...rest easy George... I am...

I got to know George when we had Friday night poker games. He was always pleasant, friendly, and a true gentleman.

George was an important part of McCall & the Pancake House. He knew everyone & always welcoming. He will be missed by many. RIP Anne Rush
