Not sure what to say?

Thinking fondly about George today. It was a joy and privilege to work with him. His loving family were always welcoming. Sometimes memories of good people we have known and enjoyed keeping us content and cheerful. Thank you, George!

We did not find out until quite recently that Cousin George had passed away. I remember visiting my great Aunt Bess, Grandma Bea's sister a very long time ago (late 1970's)when we went to Canada. I remember seeing Sonny and his children, Danny and Tanya. I wish we had kept better in touch. I have some faint memories of George but they are good ones. I know he will be missed. Since his passing we also lost Maury. Just wanted to say that the family on this side of the border is sending...

I have been without words about George since I received the news of his death. I think that's because there are none, not really. But I'm feeling compelled to write so here goes:

Though we have had almost no contact since our days together in Toronto I have never - and I mean never - felt disconnected from him, or from Louisa, or from Daccia. In fact, that is the case with everyone who came together to create what I define as Fraggle Rock.

On behalf of the Jim Henson Legacy and many of the people who worked with George on Fraggle Rock episodes, I send our condolences and sympathy for your loss.

George Bloomfield a man for all seasons.

I played the accordion, Deb danced and sang and Maury played the Clarinet. We were pretty bad (ok, Debbie, you were better than Maury and me) but George exhibited the same great patience and encouragement that I'm sure served him well in his directing days that were yet to come.

He was truly a...

It was my great honor to get to work with George on many projects, through my long association with Clare Walker Casting. His insight was tremendous, and only eclipsed by his huge and generous heart and humor.

Dearest Louisa and Daccia,
If words were wishes then these words would erase the sorrow and grief you're experiencing on George's passing. Sorry can't even begin to express how horrible we feel. May the memories you have give you comfort and the support of your family give you love.
Our deepest sympathy and love, Queenie and Sol

Dear Louisa and Daccia,

I am so saddened to hear this news, though buoyed by my many memories of George which are all infused with his humanity and his humor. I'll get the word out to the Fraggle Family, but please know that all of us are thinking of you and of George. For me, our relationship goes back to my early days at CBC Drama - Peep Show, Love is a Long Shot, etc. And every one of those experiences was a good one for me, because of George. His gentleness and love just...
